This week Louis tried his first solid foods. First he tried some rice cereal and a couple days later he tried sweet potatoes. We only mix up about a tablespoon of food but it’s anyone’s guess how much makes it in his mouth. He seems pretty interested in the food and I think he wants it to go in his mouth but his tongue gets in the way.
Louis also tried to blow bubbles with his cereal. Maybe that's how he got some on his nose?
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine how trippy it must be to try food for the first time. I doubt anyone is as awed and impressed by rice cereal as this little guy. At dinner today Leslie mentioned that avocado is supposed to be a pretty excellent food to start babies out on.
