Last weekend we visited the Montgomery County Fair. We saw a variety of farm animals. This photo is of a young girl in a 4-H club handling a large cow for a competition.
We got pretty close to some cows and Louis found the loud volume of their moo-ing to be scary We also saw some pig racing and Louis sat on one of the many tractors on display.
We returned on a weeknight to watch a monster truck competition. Before the show we could walk around the trucks on display.
The first truck competition was to do a wheelie on cars. Louis found this to be very scary, more from the sight than the sounds. (Louis, like almost everyone in the bleachers, was wearing ear protection because it was very loud.)
We decided to leave the show early, just as the sun was going down.
