Camping near Mt. Princeton Hot Springs

Our family and Grandma and Grandpa Brooks headed to Mt. Princeton Hot Springs in early August. Not only was it Ashley’s birthday, but it was the right time of year to sit in the river where the hot water mixes with the cold mountain water. People had stacked up rocks to make pools of just the right temperature.

Our campsite had a beautiful view of a mountain side.

Everyone enjoyed our time at the campsite.

On our way out of Mt. Princeton we stopped at a mining town where the chipmunks were eager to be fed.

  1. This looks like so much fun. It makes me feel nostalgic to see that red checkered picnic table cloth.
