On Father’s Day we went to a nearby farm to pick some strawberries. We were excited to find out that we had to ride in a wagon pulled by a tractor to get to the strawberry fields. Louis loves tractors!
Louis particularly enjoyed sampling the strawberries and transferring picked berries from one container to the other.
This farm had other fun activities like a play ground, rubber duck races (using water pumps), and potato sack slides. Matt and Louis went down the slide a couple times.
Earlier in the month, when Matt was hiking the Grand Canyon, Louis visited a different farm that has lots of animals to feed and pet. I think Louis was more interested in putting quarters into the vending machine to get animal feed then he was in actually feeding the goats and sheep. In fact, he refused to let animals lick his hand, but he did pet a chicken and a goat.
