Our family flew to Salt Lake City to attend Natalie’s graduation and visit relatives. We got lots of great pictures.
Below are pictures of Natalie’s graduation from BYU. She got her B.A. in Latin American Studies from the Kennedy Center for International Studies.

In the photo above you can see the Y on the side of the mountain and how BYU is located right up against the mountains. It's a beautiful location for a college campus. Below is a photo of Natalie and Louis with a musical group that performed during graduation and afterward, while people got refreshments.

While in Salt Lake City we stayed at Great-Grandma Hyer’s house. Louis liked Grandma Hyer and didn’t mind her holding him. In this photo Louis has a mohawk, thanks to a bit of hair gel and some styling.

Louis needed a bath and luckily Grandma Hyer had a pot big enough for him to sit in. He loved splashing around on the kitchen floor.

On Friday night we went to the Castle’s house for a dinner party. Pictured below are (Great) Aunt Leslie, Bronwynne, Carly and Louis, Brooks, Ashley and Lorraine. Leslie made a Mexican feast. Below to the right is a photo of Brooks holding Louis. We also got to meet Brooks’s fiancée Mike. They make a great couple. (Mike and Uncle Cy are not pictured.)

On Saturday we made a quick stop at the Great Salt Lake.

Saturday was Grandma Hyer's 87th birthday. We went to a birthday party at Aunt Renee's house. Lots of cousins were there including Melanie (first picture below), Camille and her new husband Ben (second picture below), and Travis (third picture below).

Louis got along well with his second cousin Esti -- they even shared toys.
Grandma had some help blowing out the candles from Cy and James.

Four generations!
Louis was pretty tired after all the partying.

So many beautiful pictures. I feel like I have so many comments to make that I don't know where to start so I will just say this: Go Cougars.
ReplyDeleteI particularly like the photos of Natalie. These are the kind of photos that she will look at some day and say "I was so young and beautiful on my graduation day."

The weather was great in the afternoon on Friday and Saturday--80 and sunny with a light breeze.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting - Louis is so much bigger - can't wait to see him!
